How We Met
We met back in September 2001, we both just started working at Sears (in the same deptartment) both of us also had just gotten out of our 'high school' relationships so were weren't looking for anything serious. We just started hanging out then in January 2002 we realized we weren't just friends anymore so we decided on our 'official' anniversary and have been together since!
About Us
We live in good 'ol Dover, I grew up in the area (Barrington) & went to school in Dover. He grew up in Windham and came up here for college. He's the outgoing, sarcastic, funny half & I'm the shy, quiet, dork half :) We both like watching movies, The Office, Our friends, Beer, Sports... actually the last one is more him, he keeps trying to get me to like them... I'm working on it. :) We both work together still, just not at Sears (Thank goodness!). People always say to us, how can you work & live together with out getting on each others nerves... I always tell them that since we've been working together our whole relationship I wouldn't know what to do with out him there with me :)
The Proposal
We got engaged August 22nd, 2007. I knew he had purchased the ring, I just didn't know when he was going to give it to me. That day we went to Boston and did the tour of Fenway, that night we went to the beach to watch the fireworks, I kept giving him a hard time telling him "this would be the perfect moment to do it" lol. Little did I know he was planning on doing it in a couple of minutes! The fireworks started and he reached around me and was like "Well, I actually did bring something for you", I just laughed. I felt bad that I was giving him a hard time, but it fit us perfectly and wouldn't have wanted it to go another way :)
